More people are getting interested (or should I say curious!) about stock market and genuinely want to be part of the economic growth story.
This happened to me as well around 2004-2005 while I was in working in the UK after completing my higher studies in University of Liverpool. I started my Stock Market journey around 2005 and it was more of a hobby as I was working full-time at a leading Financial Services firm in Manchester, UK.
In 2011, decided to return to India and was very clear that I wanted to start my own business in the field of stock market trading. This led to getting associated with Angel Broking Ltd. and started my own business as a channel partner for them. I started to acquire lot of clients who used to come to my office during trading hours and trade with their HARD EARNED money. They became like a member of my family and developed a cordial relationship with me. Unfortunately, most of them started losing their hard earned money and used to go out of my office with huge disappointment. I used to get a lot of income even though they lost their money through brokerages. However, this was not my vision when I started the business. This just did not fit within my business principles and ethics.
One fine day, I decided and told my clients that I will be shutting the office for good as I didn't want any more people investing their money without any knowledge and losing. I received a wonderful suggestion from one of them who gave me an idea that I should start teaching them "How to Trade" so that they no longer lose their money and be successful in their trading. This perfectly aligned with my vision, principles and ethics!
In the mean time I had won the Zee Business Sensex ka Sultan Season 2 from South India based on returns gained on investment, financial and market knowledge (still make me feel proud as the 50" LED TV still hangs on my living room) and I was one of the finalists. Although I didn't win the final round and missed winning a brand new BMW car, it was an wonderful certification for my knowledge about the trading.
This gave me the confidence to formulate the learning modules for my new students and had taught plenty of people with this Professional Trading Course titled "Art of Trading". A fantastic positive feedback from all the people who took the course motivated me to make some spare time for teaching more people!
